Statistics Quiz: Analysis of T-test, ANOVA, and Correlation (Math Problem Sample)

Instructions:

THIS Paper waS A STATISTICS QUIZ THAT REQUIRED ME TO CARRY OUT THREE ANALYSES: ANOVA, T-TEST, AND CORRELATION. A SET OF DATA HAD BEEN PROVIDED, WHICH I USED TO PERFORM THE THREE ANALYSES. I BEGAN WITH THE T-TEST AT A 5% SIGNIFICANCE LEVEL BEFORE USING EXCEL TO PERFORM ANOVA AND CORRELATION. I PROVIDED A BRIEF EXPLANATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS AT EVERY STAGE OF THE ANALYSIS. THE RESULTS FROM BOTH T-TEST AND ANOVA PROVED THE NULL HYPOTHESIS, WHICH STATES THAT THE MEAN FOOD CONSUMED IN POUNDS AFTER BEING SCARED STRAIGHT IS EQUAL TO THE MEAN FOOD CONSUMED IN POUNDS WITHOUT ANY INTERVENTION.
