The Woman's Book of Choices: Abortion, Menstrual Extraction

“Chalker, Rebecca, and Carol Downer. The Woman's Book of Choices: Abortion, Menstrual Extraction, RU-486. Seven Stories Press, 1992.”
In the book written by Chalker and Downer, the authors highlighted why abortion should never be legalized. Some of the author's arguments were based on the analogy that every child has the potential of becoming an important and influential member of society who can influence change and make society a better place. From the author's perspective, by legalizing abortion, then many dreams will be thwarted. This study was utilized in my research in putting forward strong arguments regarding why abortion should never be legalized.
“Cohen, Susan. "Facts And Consequences: Legality, Incidence And Safety Of Abortion Worldwide ."Guttmacher Institute, 2009, https://www.guttmacher.org/gpr/2009/11/facts-and-consequences-legality-incidence-and-safety-abortion-worldwide#.”
In this study conducted by Cohen, the author highlighted various costs that are associated with the prohibition of abortion. The study was published in 2009. I used the article in the research to highlight the health and financial costs associated with abortion. Health costs were a result of women being exposed to quack gynecologists, whose poor practices put lives and the reproductive health of pregnant women in danger. Financial costs included the costs incurred by the government in curing complications associated with unsafe abortion. The article provided compelling evidence of why abortion should be legalized.
