Larry E. Humes, in this article, was examining the effect of age on numerous psychological measures of threshold sensitivity and the senses of touch, vision, and hearing. Being a study, a method of examining age group differences and correlations, the research was meant to outline associations among age, cognition, and sensory processing. The analysis yielded that, and older adults perform poorly than middle-aged adults who, in turn, are worse than young adults as far as sensory and cognitive measures are concerned. In conclusion, the study determined that middle-aged adults show more decline in not just sensory domains but also cognitive domains more than the older and younger adults.
Larry, in his article, he makes very rational points that are well supported by pieces of evidence he obtains without any bias. He does not consider his findings as final, which leaves room for more conclusions. This study fits the description in the textbook and can even be quoted in a previous assignment I did.

BEN-Joseph, Eliezer LEWIS, and Richard H in their book review, dig into the subject, how stress makes you fat, wrinkled, and dead. Having looked at this subject before, Ben-Joseph and Lewis in their other work, "The 6 Ways Stress Can Kill You," have vast experience in this subject. Breaking down the otherwise 50 pages book, the authors elaborate on the causes of stress and then, in turn, show how the stress affects various bodily systems. They go ahead to give more information on the techniques to deal with the stress. As they conclude their review, the authors propose a minute to three long exercises on how to alleviate stress.
The authors not only choose the right book to write a review, but they also offer very logical points and explanations. They, in turn, the go-ahead to provide elaborate pieces of evidence to support their arguments devoid of any biasness. The discussion fits the description provided in the book.
