Unit 5: Part One
Question One
In 10th December 1996, Taylor experienced unusual in her body. She had a brain disorder of her own, where a blood vessel exploded in the left half of her brain. Within around four hours, she could not walk, read, write or recall anything of her life, it’s like she had become an infant of her woman’s body. Her consciousness had shifted from her normal perception of her reality. Everything inside her body had slowed down.
Question Two
The right hemisphere is all about the present moment, all about “right here”, “right now.” It is referred as parallel processor when related to computer system. The right hemisphere thinks in pictures and learns technically through the move of our bodies. Information in form of energy streams simultaneously through all our sensory system and explodes into what present moment looks like, smells like, tastes like, etc. People are energy beings connected together through the power of the right hemisphere and in the moment, people are perfect beings through the power of it.
Question Three
The left hemisphere thinks linearly and methodically. It is referred to as the serial processor when related to computer system. It is all about the past and also all about the future. It takes details of the right moment and organizes it and associate everything in the past and projects it into the future. It thinks in language and it is the ongoing brain charter that connects one’s internal world to their external world.
Question Four
Taylor's stroke occurred in the left hemisphere of her brain, where the language center is primarily located. The left hemisphere controls the ability to create sound and to understand words; it controls the internal organization of every detail of your life.

My vision acuity was 20/20
Question Two
1 20/200 vision acuity means that one is legally blind, and means that if one needs to stand 20 feet away from a 200 feet building for the person to see it clearly.
2 10/100 vision acuity means that one have to be 20 feet or close for them to see a 100 feet object clearly.
3 20/50 vision acuity means that or defines visual impairment, such that person with this kind of vision acuity can see clearly when they are 20 feet away from the object.
4 20/40 vision acuity means that one can see a chart clearly when standing 20 feet away from it unlike with normal person who can see it clearly when standing 4o feet away from it.
5 20/30 visual acuity means that one’s vision is worse than normal and when one is standing 20 feet, they can see objects that many people see from 30 feet away.
6 20/20 visual acuity means normal vision and when one is standing 20 feet away from an object, they see what people normally see at that distance.

Corrected acuity refers to the measurement of the best vision correction that can be achieved using glasses or contact lenses while uncorrected visual acuity is a measurement of clearness of vision while the patient is not using refractive correction.
