Instructions:

This task was about explaining what the bible and other religious books and beliefs say about evil and good. I was also expected to show how the world perceives evil and whatever symbol they associate evil with.
It required an explanation of concepts surrounding good and evil as well as quoting scripture in trying to discuss the concept of good and evil.
It was mandatory to determine the relationship between human nature and evil i.e. whether human beings are naturally evil and whether morality is an element that keeps human evil in check.

With the current world which is characterized by the rapidly growing technology ‘evil’ and ‘good’ has taken a totally different meaning especially where religious considerations are not included. The wide difference between ‘evil’ and ‘good’ has created a number of perceptions and views among different individuals and also scholars. There are some misleading concepts that have led to justice systems being created in order to take care of those who are considered ‘evil’ in the society, Neiman, (2002). ‘Evil’, according to the bible is basically a negative action in which its results may lead to destruction and suffering of other people. On the other hand ‘good’, according to the holy bible is simply an action or a characteristic of an object or subject in which a good or desired outcome may be accrued from it.
