Whose Story? The Perspective of History Readings
The story in Rewriting the Histories of the Land concentrates more on the history of Canada and the Canadians. The central perspective in the rewriting readings is the uniqueness of the characters of Canadians in terms of how they interacted with the indigenous population in Canada. Additionally, the story of Rewriting the histories of the land is also focused on the colonization of Canada by the British, who entered through two fronts, including the Hudson's Bay and the East Coast region. On the other hand, the story of Heavy to Lift is more concerned about the history of Indians. The story in the National-building and the Deeply rationalized other talks about the Indians who were fearless in talking about their feelings to the colonizers.
